CompTIA A+ is an industry standard certification aimed at IT Technicians and computer support professionals.
The qualification recognises the diversity of roles available by offering certification exams, which are continually reviewed. This qualification for technicians is regarded as an industry benchmark, and is generally the first in a series of certifications that an IT professional will undertake.

What will I learn?
Computer hardware and operating systems; installation, building, upgrading, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, diagnosing and preventive maintenance.
The Essentials Exam covers the basic skills needed by any entry-level service technician.

It is expected that applicants will have a good knowledge of PC Systems and the internal workings of a PC.

What facilities do we have?
Our fully equipped practical ICT laboratory allows all learners gain hands on experience and to develop the skills they need for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a PC.
How much will it cost?
The cost of the course is £500, which includes the cost of the two examinations
How long is the course?
The course lasts for 18 weeks at 3 hours per week, usually running from 6pm to 9pm on Monday or Tuesday (A/B) evenings, although the course can also be offered on a ‘Boot Camp’ style, intensive basis
