Course Summary
This course is designed to give delegates an awareness of how to correctly complete the care plans of clients/service users. Enable them to appreciate the importance of dignity and respect in relation to confidentiality and correct communication of information.
What will I learn?
- The standards of care planning
- The legal aspects of care planning, including the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles and the Human Rights Act.
- The national minimum standards
- Service User involvement and consent
- The concepts of person centred planning
- The care planning cycle
- Activities within daily living
What are the entry requirements?
This course is for health care professionals working with vulnerable people either in care or in their own home, who are responsible for compiling/completing care plans.

Half day course, 9:30am - 12:30pm or 1:30pm - 4:30pm. Flexible dates.
