Why choose this course?

The research undertaken with a range of Financial Intermediaries suggests that some advisers are apprehensive about recommencing study after a number of years, in particular completing written coursework and sitting examinations. This workshop will help to prepare you for the forthcoming coursework in a practical way, alleviating some of the anxieties that exist when undertaking a new programme of study. The Oldham College has been approved as a Key Provider for the IFS Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) so you can be assured of our commitment to quality provision.

Understanding the assignment content
Assignment structure
Assignment writing
Effective communication
Referencing
Exemplar assignments will be available with examiners comments and feedback to highlight and discuss the key areas examiners will be looking for.
Delegates will have the opportunity to share ideas and refresh areas of competence relevant to the current assignment.

What are the entry requirements?

You must have achieved a Level 3 financial advice qualification such as CeFA or FPC or above and be currently practicing as a Financial Adviser working towards or considering competing the IFS Diploma for Financial Advisers.

What will you achieve?

A practical understanding of the coursework and an insight in to what the examiners are looking for. In addition knowledge and understanding of technical areas should be re-enforced through discussion with peers
