This programme is for professional development coaches and will develop new skills and enhance existing skills.

What will I learn?
The coaching role and responsibilities, the identifying of individual coaching needs, how to establish and maintain an effective coaching relationship, progress review and the evaluation of effective practice.
What are the entry requirements?
Access to a professional development role and level 2 numeracy and literacy is desirable.

3 unit credits at level 3 or 4
The 'Preparing for the coaching role' unit is part of the Ascentis teacher training suite of qualifications.
To gain the credit an assignment and case study are to be completed
