Why choose this course?

Enhance managerial skills.
Legislation from OFSTED may soon require a level 4 qualification.
This is a work based qualification with relevant evidence needed to achieve level 4 qualification.

What will I learn?

The level 4 course covers 4 mandatory units:

Establishing and developing working relationships.
Supporting policies, procedures and practice to safeguard children and ensure inclusion and well-being.
Support programmes for the promotion of children’s development.
Reflect on, reviewing and developing own practice.
5 optional units need to be agreed with your assessor suitable to your position in the setting.

What are the entry requirements?

You must hold a level 3 qualification in childcare.
Have a level 4 skill scan.
Complete an application form.
Be working in a management/team leader role.

What will you achieve?

A qualification which will enhance your skills as a manager/team leader, by updating practice and assessing your work. Enabling early year’s settings to become excellent in caring for children in the early years, and working with a supportive and happy workforce.
