The course will involve all the underpinning knowledge and skills required to work in the care setting. You will complete 9 mandatory units nad then optional units from groups B & C.

These units are worth 24 credits.
Optional units will be chosen from groups B & C
What are the entry requirements?
People who are over 18 years old and working as front line care workers.

You will achieve a recognised qualification which is the Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Adults)
Where can I go next?
Successful students who achieve the Level 2 Diploma will then be able to progress on to the Dipolma in Health & Social Care (Adults) Level 3.

For Oldham residents in employment wishing to complete a first Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification there will be funding availble from the 1st August 2011, anyone wishing to take advantage can apply direct to The Oldham College.
