Course Summary
An advanced level qualification focussing towards management level. No formal examinations are required but a completed portfolio of evidence must be produced for verification in order to achieve. Eight units are compiled, Four are mandatory and four are optional and candidate choice. Candidates are requested
to attend college once per month for three hours. An assessor will be assigned to each candidate, and workplace competence will be observed. All candidates must be over 18 years old and in a management role (paid or voluntary).

What will I learn?
Compulsory Units:
- Use and develop methods and systems to communicate record and report.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of health and safe practices in the working environment.
- Take responsibility for the continuing professional development of self and others.
- Develop practices which promote choice well-being and the protection of all individuals.
Optional Units:
- At Level 5 you will need to choose optional units pertinent to your job role.
What are the entry requirements?
Managers, deputy managers, and senior workers in line for promotion (letter of confirmation required).
What will you achieve?
You will achieve a recognised Level 5 qualification in health and social care.
