Course Summary
Changes to Part P of the Building Regulations now mean that a significant proportion of all electrical work carried out in dwelllings in England and Wales now has to be notified to the local Buiding Control department and a certificate of compliance issued to the householder.
The course is designed for non electrical personnal who work on electrical systems in domestic premises as part of their day to day duties.
Covering the following area, the course is delivered by the leading author of The Part P Doctor* (free copy for each candidate):
- Basic Principles
- Lesislation & Regulations
- Electrical Safety
- Installation Theory
- Testing & Documentation
- Installation Practical
The course concludes with an assessment where candidates complete the practical tasks and a written assessment.
What are the entry requirements?
All those currently / seeking to undertake notifiable electrical work in dwellings seeking to self certify
Particularly suited to plumber, heating engineers and kitchen fitters.
