NVQ Level 2 in Advice and Guidance Support

What will I learn?

You will be required to attend 6 hour x 6 monthly best practice and portfolio building workshops, where you will cover the knowledge and understanding requirements for the 3 mandatory and 3 optional units to achieve a full L2 NVQ in Advice and Guidance and gain support in compiling your portfolio of evidence.

You will also have regular tutorials with your fully qualified and experienced assessor at the workshops to review your progress, set targets and discuss your learning. Ongoing email and telephone support will also be provided throughout the programme.

An option of ‘e-portfolio’ and distance learning is available.

There are no exams

What are the entry requirements?

This course is for individuals who:

  • Work (paid or unpaid) in a support role within an advice and guidance setting
  • Who interact with clients using a range of media – (telephone and internet based technology)
  • Who are providing a front line service in advice or guidance organisations
