CompTIA Security + is an industry standard certification aimed at Senior Computer support professionals.

What will I learn?

Computer hardware and operating systems; Network Devices and their installation, configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing to manage network security.

The Exam covers the skills needed by any Manager or Senior technician.

What are the entry requirements?

Applicants are invited for an interview and no qualifications are necessary for acceptance, although any former experience is taken into account. CompTIA N+ or Server+ certification or equivalent knowledge, although neither certification is not required. Have at least 12 to 18 months of work experience in IT networking

What facilities do we have?

Our fully equipped ICT laboratory allows all learners gain hands on experience and to develop the skills they need in a diverse range of Network Operating systems. There is a mobile network which may be moved into the commercial course teaching rooms.

How much will it cost?

The cost of the course is £500, which includes the cost of the examination

How long is the course?

The course lasts for 15 weeks at 3 hours per week, usually running from 6pm to 9pm on an evening TBA, although the course can also be offered on a ‘Boot Camp’ style, intensive basis
