The Oldham College

The Oldham College has gained Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) status in four key areas. Each CoVE has developed a range of high quality, specialist training programmes specifically aimed at improving and developing employers skills which meet individual sector and industry needs.

The role of each CoVE is

• To enhance the skills and careers of people already in work
• To enhance the employability prospects of those seeking work
• To develop, maintain and deliver high quality, specialist training within a range of new and traditional occupations
• To develop innovative methods of delivering training and teaching to enhance specialist and general skills
• To work closely with industry to deliver industry-relevant training to a high standard
