17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS7671 2008)

The 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations is now in place and is a requirement to work in the electrical installation industry. The Oldham College is pleased to offer several opportunities to complete this required training whether it be a full 17th edition course or an update from an existing 16th Edition qualification.
The IEE has stated that any holders of the 16th Edition completed after 2001 will require a 1 day update course. Holders of the 16th Edition
completed before 2001 will be required to complete the full 17th edition course.

Course Aims:
The completion of the 17th Edition BS7671 is a requirement to work in the electrical installation industry. The course has been designed to meet these requirements and to offer the opportunity of completing this in
several modes of attendance to suit the requirements of industry.
Course Duration:
Full 17th Edition course: 3 days + assessment = £355
Update course: 1 day + assessment = £165
Both courses will also be available by attendance of night classes.
Entry Criteria:
All candidates must have either completed BS7671 - 16th Edition.
Or have C&G 2351, 2360 part 2, 2330 or Level 3 or equivalent.
