NEW SECTOR SPECIFIC BUSINESS DIRECTORIES

Following feedback from employers, the Oldham College will be launching a suite of sector specific business directories which will enable customers to see what training is offered to businesses throughout the college.

ON THE MOVE
13th August 2009
The administration team from the Oldham College Business Centre will be operating from Pennine House on Union Street from 18th August 2009.

All services and training delivered by the Oldham College Business Centre will remain unchanged and most on-site training will still be delivered at the Rochdale Road Campus.

SERVICE DISRUPTION
13th August 2009
To accomodate the move to Union Street the Oldham College Business Centre will be closed from the afternoon of Friday 14th August until Tuesday 18th August. 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS7671 2008)

The 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations is now in place and is a requirement to work in the electrical installation industry. The Oldham College is pleased to offer several opportunities to complete this required training whether it be a full 17th edition course or an update from an existing 16th Edition qualification.

The Oldham College has officially OUTSTANDING relationships with Employers.
The Oldham College has received a truly outstanding inspection from OFSTED, who in an independent report released on Friday 1 February, awarded grade 1s, the highest award possible, in every major category of measurement – a level of success that only a handful of colleges inspected by OFSTED have ever achieved. The report highlighted the excellent relationships the Oldham College have built up with businesses.

These bite sized workshops have been developed to support growing businesses and training is aimed at developing employers, employees Management, Leadership, Finance, IT and Business skills to help overcome the barriers faced in a competitive environment.
